Question:
I add Nasheed to the videos. The Nasheed stops at any point when the video ends. The Nasheed may be glorifying Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Is it okay if it ends without completing a sentence?
If I edit and add Nasheed to my video from Instagram, can I post the same video to other social media?
Is watching embroidery designs from social media and re-creating them with some other designs for selling purposes permissible?

Answer:
As Muslims, we are encouraged to remain in the remembrance of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), as it brings immense rewards and is emphasized in numerous Hadith:
‘Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
One of the Companions said, “O Messenger of Allah! There are many injunctions of Islam for me. So tell me something to which I may hold fast.” He said, “Keep your tongue wet with the remembrance of Allah.” [1]
Adding Nasheeds to a video is a commendable way to incorporate this remembrance. However, it is important to ensure that the Nasheed does not end abruptly in the middle of words of glorification.
For example, if the Nasheed concludes with the word “Subhanallah” (which means “Glory be to Allah”), it should not cut off midway, such as at “Subh”, which could change the meaning to “morning” or “dawn.” To avoid such unintended outcomes, care should be taken to complete phrases of praise before the video ends. This reflects respect for the remembrance of Allah and upholds the principle of ihsan (excellence) in our actions.
When uploading a Nasheed that you did not create, it is essential to check its copyright status or seek permission from the studio or creator. Using someone else’s work without authorization could violate their intellectual property rights and be considered unjust.[2]
Regarding your third question about replicating embroidery designs, directly copying an existing design without permission would be considered deceptive, as it is not your own content and would fall under the ruling of استنباط الأفكار.
However, taking inspiration from existing designs is permissible as long as your recreated work is significantly different and does not replicate or misappropriate the original design. This approach ensures fairness and avoids any form of dishonesty.[3]
I hope that this answers the question.
Only Allah knows best.
