Ismul Azam

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Answer

Saaiduna Abu Umamah Radiallahu Anhu says that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam has said that Ismul Azam (the greatest name of Allah (SWA)) through which Allah (SWA) fulfils peoples needs is contained in Surah Baqarah., Al-Imran and Tahaa.  Saaiduna Abu Umamah Radiallahu Anhu says that when he searched for Ismul Azam in Baqarah he found it to be in Ayatul Kursi.  And when he searched in Surah Al-Imran he found it to be the words:

ALLAHU LAA ILAHAA ILLA HU.  AL-HAYYUL-QAYYUM

Allah! There is no good but He.  The living; The Self-subsisting eternal.  (Surah Al-Imran v.2)

And in Surah Tahaa he found it to be the words:

WA ANATIL WUJUHU LIL HAYYUL QAYYUM

And all faces shall be humbled before Al-Hayyul Qayym.  (Surah Tahaa v.111)
