Question:

I have a problem where after urinating it takes 15mins – 30mins even 40 mins sometimes for drops to stop completely. What I do is place the tissue and then go wash it with water after around 30mins.

My question is, after passing urine am I allowed to enter the Masjid immediately after going to the washroom OR do I have to wait outside the Masjid area until the 30 mins or so have passed for the drops to completely stop?

I know it’s a bit late with the question but I would appreciate a prompt answer as I intend on i’tikaf.

Answer:

A person is allowed to enter the Masjid as long as he’s not in a state of Janabah (impurity which requires bathing such as sexual intercourse) or a woman is in her menses. (1)

You can enter the Masjid after urinating.

Do make sure that the urine drops don’t fall into the Masjid.
