Question:

During Salah my chest moved a bit. It was still facing the general direction of the Qibla. Is the Salah still valid?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is a condition in Salah that one faces the Ka’ba. Outside of the Haram and Makkah it is necessary one faces the direction of the Ka’ba. The direction of the Ka’ba is directly towards Makkah. In the case mentioned above, Salah will be valid as the chest did not move out of the direction of Makkah, if it did then Salah will be invalid.
