Question

If I do a nikah over Skype and on the other side, it’s the husband, wife, sister, and mother and no men! I am the only shahid but I am on the other side of Skype not with them …is this OK?

Answer:

This Nikaah would not be valid as the conditions for the nikah ceremony is that the witness is at the same location as where the Ijab (acceptance) Qubul are to take place.
