Question

I swear on god almighty that I am not an enemy of Islam. It is only because of my OCD that I send those weird questions about nudity, imagination and other similar stuff that seem to be repeated again and again. One of the main characteristics of OCD urges. I feel so unwell that I cannot even sleep because I need to feel reassured I haven't committed kufr. MERCY?!

Answer:

The ADHD and OCD disorders that you are dealing with are real-life disorders that affect the mental state of a human being, thus altering the rulings in many cases. The Prophet (SAW) has mentioned that mistakes and actions are overlooked for three individuals incapable of acting coherently in their states. One of the three individuals the Prophet (SAW) “the mentally ill until he can understand or retain consciousness.”

In the case that one is overcome with OCD and does not realize what he is doing at that moment, then insha Allah he will be void of any sin. This is what

the Prophet (SAW) had mentioned in this abovementioned hadith as well as many others.

As for your fear of kufr, please do not despair. Allah is the Most Merciful and is All-Forgiving towards his slaves. This test from Allah can be a means of you entering paradise and Insha Allah, retaining great reward in the hereafter with your patience and effort. A similar occurrence happened to a woman in the time of the Prophet (SAW) where she was afflicted with epilepsy and would even strip off her own clothing in the act. She asked the Prophet (SAW) to make dua for her to be healed. He (SAW) said, “If you wish I will pray for your healing or you can be patient.” She chose to be patient while seeking dua that she does not remove her clothing anymore, which the Prophet (SAW) prayed for her accordingly.[1]

In the same manner, you are being tested and it does not mean Allah is angry with you, rather Allah loves you and is testing you, so be strong, seek His forgiveness and do not despair.
