Question:

If a parent gifts money to his child who is not mature, is he allowed to take it back at any time?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

No, once a gift is given to a child or an adult, whether mature or immature, and the receiver has accepted it, the giver no longer has any right to claim that gift back.

Radd al-Muhtar, Volume 5, Dar al-Kotob al-Ilmiya, page 383:

«لا يجوز للواهب الرجوع في هبته بعد القبول، سواء كانت الهبة للبالغ أو للصغير.»

“It is not permissible for the giver to retract their gift after its acceptance, whether the gift was for an adult or a minor.”
