Question:

 

I have a problem sometimes I have clear liquid coming out from my privates and it delays me in my salah sometimes missing Fardh salah in Jama’ah, it is a clear slippery liquid and it takes a long time before I am satisfied that I am clean down there and I can do wudhu and perform my salah I have at times missed my Jumu’ah salah because of it after shower I still have that liquid drop come out so I wait around and then clean up and then do wudhu again and by that time Fard Jama’ah has been finished would this make me a person of Mazoor.

Answer:

 

A person is only considered to be Ma’dhur if during the entire Waqt of Salat, he cannot hold his Wudhu for the time it takes to perform Wudhu and pray his Salat. If the leakage of your Madhi (pre-seminal fluid) does not stop for the entire Waqt of Salat, such that you cannot make Wudhu and pray without the issue occuring, only then will you be Ma’dhur.

 

My advice is that you try fasting as much as possible to control your sexual desires. Also, please lower your gaze and do not look at any Haram content. Furthermore, please try your best to not think about Haram topics during the time of Salat, especially during Jumu’ah time. If Madhi does exit your urinary passage, you should try to urinate and then make Istibra in order to clear out all the Madhi.

 

Ways to make Istibra include;

• Walking around after urination and move about naturally as you do in your daily routine.
• Sit down and stand up a few times.
• lower yourself into a squatting position and then stand up a few times.
• Cross one foot over the other and then try to bend down and touch your toes.
• Press against your perineum and then slowly move up to your scrotum.
• Cough or clear your throat in order to make the Madhi come out.

 

In conclusion, if you do fit in the definition of a Ma’dhur person, you may make Wudhu and pray even if your leaking problem persists during Salat. Then once the Waqt ends, your Wudhu will be considered broken and a fresh Wudhu needs to be made. If you are not Ma’dhur, you will need to take the proactive steps above in order to ensure you do not miss your Jummah and other congregational prayers.
