Question:
Salam aleykum,

If someone reads Mangas which involve false gods, powers, monsters etc. (like Naruto or One Piece), is he a kafir?
Obviously, he doesn’t believe in all these things.

Answer:
Walikum salam

Watching Mangas and such cartoons and reading comics does not take you out of the fold of Islam, providing you do not believe in them and your Iman is not wavered. But to stay on the safe side, it is better to avoid such cartoons and comics that can play with a person’s faith.
