Question:
During these festive seasons, I saw many muslim traders selling firecrackers. Is it permissible to sell these things?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
There is no benefit in fireworks, rather it scares the animals and it is a waste of time and money. It will be better for Muslim traders not to deal in fireworks.
In the Quran Allah speak about those who squander recklessly (Surah isra Ayah 26): Surely, squanderers are brothers to satans, and the Satan is very ungrateful to his Lord.
However if they do such by selling fireworks, it will not be prohibited rather it is disliked. It will not render the business impermissible.
