Question:

I recited surah ma'oon in the first rakah and in the second accidentally began recited surah feel after realising that it comes before ma'oon I stopped and the recited surah kauthar. I felt as if this may be counted as repeating a few verses that should be recited after fatiha so i performed sajda of forgetfulness in the end. Was this correct?

Answer

بسم الله الرحمن الرحي

There is no sajdah sahw if you read surahs against their order although it is makrooh to do so on purpose.  (Ahsanul Fatawa, vol. 3, pg. 443, Hm Saeed company)

If a person mistakenly reads a surah in the second raka'ah which precedes the surah he read in the first rak'ah, it is not makrooh, so once he starts the surah he should complete it. Once you start a surah, to leave it and read another surah is makrooh? Ahsanul Fatawa, vol. 3, pg. 443, Hm Saeed company.

In your case, your salah will be valid although sajdah shaw was not necessary.
