Question:

ZamZam water for Shifa, Is it better to drink it standing or sitting? I have heard that one Should drink ZamZam water while standing

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

There is an option for a person to drink Zamzam water while standing or sitting. (Raddul Muhtar p.254-255 v.1 Darul kutub ilmiyyah)

It will not be makrooh to drink it while standing. However, for normal water, one should sit down and drink.
