Question

We performed tawaf Ifada after pelting and before Qurbani was confirmed. One Mufti had said we don't need to wait for Qurbani for tawaf Ifada. Also, other scholars in the group said so.

Answer:

On the day of sacrifice, there are 4 things which are required to be performed- the ramy, then the sacrifice (for the one who is not performing mufrid hajj), then the shaving of the hair (halq), and also the tawaf al-ifadah.

It is not required to have order (tarteeb) with performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah with the other three actions, however, the order must be maintained in performing ramy, followed by zhabh (sacrifice) followed by halq (shaving). [Raddul Muhtaar, Volume 2, Page 470]
