Question:

Can I use YouTube for placing affiliate links such that I do not opt for YouTube ads (because mostly, ads contain pictures of animated objects) and I upload videos of the product pages?

When people click on my link and purchase the product, I will earn a commission.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is permissible to post affiliate links on YouTube. It is crucial to verify, nonetheless, that the material you are endorsing via these links adheres to Islamic principles and regulations. It’s also advised to stay away from any improper or deceptive tactics when advertising affiliate products on YouTube.

Earning a commission from advertising products is also permissible and the earnings are halal so long as one is not advertising haram products or services.

Only Allah (عز و جل) knows best.

[Suarh 5:Verse 2]

Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression.
