Question

If someone has cracked heels or their heels are really dry and have deep white lines, does water have to reach into these cracks/ lines when performing wudhu?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If the cracks in the heels have become deep to such an extent that it causes great pain in making the water reach such depth, then it will be permissible just to pour water over the heels. However, if that is not the case then one should make sure the water reaches each place which is visible. [1]
