Answer:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh,

Many ahadeeth have been narrated with a description of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The following summaries his hair, way of sitting and way of walking.

1.    The length of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him’s) hair differed from time to time. At times it would reach his ear lobe and at other times it reached midway between his earlobes and shoulders. At other times the Prophet (pbuh) also shaved his head. He also used to put oil in his hair and comb it. He would part his hair in the middle. His hair also had 4 plaits in it however, this plaiting did not resemble the plaits of women. The Prophet (pbuh) also had some white hair which he did not dye.[1]

2.    It has been reported that the Prophet (pbuh) would sit on the ground with both his thighs raised in an upright position and fold both arms around his legs. He would also sit cross-legged. He would also lean on a pillow on his side however, he would not lean while eating.[2]

3.    The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have walked quickly, bent slightly forward as if he was descending from a high place. Likewise, he would lift his feet with vigour and not drag them on the floor.[3]
