Question:
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah
I know in a tawaf which is followed by Sa'i men do Idhtibaa. But my question is:
For all "normal times" of wearing Ihram, is there a sunnah way of wearing the Ihram? Do we know how the Prophet (p) wore his Ihraam? If so please enlighten me how and is possible refer me to where I can read on this further (English or Arabic).
Answer:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I have not come across any information regarding the exact way of wearing it apart from the idtibaa’. It has been stated in Raddul Muhtaar that the top sheet (the ridaa) should be worn in a manner that it covers shoulders, back and chest. As well as being new and white sheets. [1]
Only Allah (swt) alone knows best.
