Question
Assalamu alaykum,
What is the ruling if one regularly passes wind? Is he required to do wudu again each time? E.g. Straight after doing wudu he passes wind on a regular occurrence. Also, what is the ruling if in prayer he passes wind only just after doing wudu?

Answer:
A person is considered maʻdhūr (excused) if they have trouble controlling wind to the extent that they are unable to remain pure for long enough (i.e. without passing wind) to make wuḍū' and complete their prayer within the appointed time.[1] Such a person must make fresh wuḍū' for each prayer, and their wuḍū' will last up to the end of the prayer time even if they pass wind inside or outside the prayer. Once the time for that prayer ends, a new wuḍū' will need to be made for the next prayer.
