Question

Should you do Shafi غسل on a Shafi ميت?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The person bathing should follow the madhhab that they know and are familiar with.[1] However, if they are familiar with and know the proper procedure for bathing the body according to the madhhab of the deceased, they may follow that out of respect.
