\n\tIn Islam, if a person missed his prayers then realizes what he is doing is wrong so he makes repentance to Allah, but did not make up for his prayer, is he going to be punished on the day of Judgement?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Ahnaaf observe A person who has omitted an obligatory Salah will perform its qada exactly in the manner he would have performed it as Ada. If one missed prayers for a long time he must start making those prayers up as soon he remembers. Also, repentance needs to be done because of negligence to prayers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRegarding your question ‘Is he going to be punished on the Day of Judgment?’ Allah is The Owner of the Day of Judgement. [Sura Fatiha: 4] Also, in the Glorious Qur'an; Whose is the kingdom this Day? (It will be) Allah's, the One, the Irresistible. (40:16)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a Sahih hadeeth, it is recorded that the Messenger of Allah said, (On the Day of Judgement) Allah will grasp the earth and fold up the heavens with His Right Hand and proclaim, 'I Am the King! Where are the kings of the earth? Where are the tyrants? Where are the arrogant'?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Day of Judgement would be extremely horrendous, beyond the ability of human imaginations. Punishing and forgiving is absolutely <\/span><\/span><\/span>truly<\/span><\/span><\/span> in Allah’s Hand. However, He loves repentance (Tawbah) as mentioned in The Quran and hadeeth. Some of them are:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\ta. Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Al-Furqan: 70]<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tb.  <\/strong>But excepted shall be they that afterwards repent and put themselves to rights: for, behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. [Al-Imran: 89]<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tc.  <\/strong>But as for those who do bad deeds and afterwards repent and [truly] believe-verily, after such repentance, the Sustainer is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! [Al-Araf: 153]<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\td.  Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, said: '0 son of Adam! Verily, as long as you called upon Me and hoped in Me, I forgave you, despite whatever may have occurred from you, and I did not mind. 0 son of Adam! Were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you, and I would not mind. 0 son of Adam! If you came to me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly as great as it." [Tirmidhi: 3540]<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
