\n\tQuestion:<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf due to breaking wind once or many times by the time I finish my prayer or am trying to pray the time for that prayer ends am I sinful? <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIs it the same as missing a prayer on purpose? \/ There are times when I may wake up late for a prayer with little time left and am not able to pray it in said time am I sinful? <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSometimes I wake up with little time but due to the breaking of wind miss, the prayer am I sinful?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for your first question, not being able to remain pure for the amount of time in which you can make wudhu and perform salah, without passing wind, this indicates that you’re an excused (ma’zoor<\/i>) person. [1] <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTherefore, once the prayer time has entered, you may perform wudhu and pray your salah. Even if you break wind whilst in prayer, your salah will be accepted. If a person is negligent in performing their prayers on time, whether they do this by not prioritizing their salah over other activities, not leaving out enough time for prayer or being lazy and waiting till the last minutes. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf one is mindful of their prayers, but occasionally falls asleep and a salah time elapses, or constantly has to renew their wudhu, then this won’t be considered as deliberately missing salah, and such a person will not be sinful, provided they are trying their best to pray their salah on time.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
