How should one do&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">istinja<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> when using a western type toilet?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">And what should one do, and take consideration of when doing this, such as <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">istinja<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> water\/splashes get onto clothes.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>\u0628\u0650\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0645<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">After relieving oneself, one must <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">firstly<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> do <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">istibraa<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&rsquo;. Isibraa&rsquo; is to ensure that urine has completely expelled from the private part. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">One may use any method for this purpose that works for him and that he is accustomed to, such <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">as:<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> coughing, taking a few steps while holding some toilet paper to his private part, squeezing out the last drops of urine from the private part etc.<\/p>\n<p>\tAfter doing&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">istibraa<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&rsquo;, one should properly clean one&rsquo;s private parts. For this, it is best to use both toilet paper and water (firstly he should wipe with toilet paper then he should wash with water). <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Second<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> best is to use only water. Third best is to only use toilet paper.<\/p>\n<p>\tHowever, if the urine has spread to an area more than the size of a dirham (2.75 cm in diameter), then it is compulsory to use water.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">One cannot suffice only on toilet paper in this case. Similarly, in the case of expelling stool, if the stool has spread around the private part and is more than the weight of a dirham (4.86 grams &#8212; regardless of size) then using water is compulsory; one cannot suffice on toilet paper in this case too.<\/p>\n<p>\tWhen using toilet paper, it is&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">mustahabb<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> (preferable) to use an odd number (3 upwards). Therefore, even if one attained cleanliness using one or two pieces of toilet paper, it will be preferable for him to use three pieces.<\/p>\n<p>\tIf one needs to clean both his back private part as well as the front one, he should begin with the back one. This will help to expel the last drops of urine from the front private part.<\/p>\n<p>\tWhen washing the back private part with water, he should wash properly until he is satisfied that the area is clean.
