Now Talaq Ahsan is completed. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.&rdquo; (Surah at-Tawbah-60)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">As someone who is working and earning enough to be above the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">nisaab<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> amount, you will not fall into any of these categories. Therefore it is not permissible for you to take zakaah.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The court order to pay maintenance to your ex-wife should be appealed as there is no Islamic basis for paying maintenance to a divorced wife after the iddah period.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">However, it would be permissible for you to take Sadaqah money to help you meet your costs as you are being put in a position of difficulty.
