\n\tWhat intention should one make before teaching <\/span><\/span>ahaadith<\/span><\/span><\/span>?

\n\tAssalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tImam Nawaw\u012b (may Allah have mercy on him) relates a number of actions\/intentions one should adorn himself with when teaching anything in general, here are some:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tThat he intends to earn the pleasure of Allah by teaching, and not to intend any worldly benefit like fame or wealth.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tThat he beautifies himself with the noble character that the <\/span><\/span>Shairah<\/span><\/span><\/span> has ordained. This includes but is not limited ascetism<\/span> from the world, not worrying about it (to: <\/span><\/span>dunya<\/span><\/span>) going away, to be generous, to have a cheerful face, to have forbearance and patience, to uphold taqwa, <\/span><\/span>khushu<\/span><\/span><\/span>’ and tranquillity<\/span>, to be humble and to maintain his own dignity, joking less and upholding the apparent and non-apparent manners of Shairah.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tTo be cautious of jealousy, showing off, belittling others.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  4. \n\t\t in the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala, in making sure to recite Quran, different To be <\/span><\/span>azkhar<\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span>duas<\/span><\/span><\/span>, and making nafl prayers and keeping fasts.frequent<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  5. \n\t\tTo be continuous in striving for knowledge, however, he does so.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  6. \n\t\tIf he can he should start writing so as to polish his knowledge if he has the ability to do so. (This one is normally for scholars).<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  7. \n\t\tTo encourage his students to strive for knowledge and not waste their time.[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
