This is one action. Let&#39;s call this the <\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">iftitaata.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Then you do Istilaam, which is touching the hajr with both hands, then kissing with the lips and then making sujud on it. If this is not possible, then touching with the hands and kissing the hands. If this is not possible, then touching with a stick and then kissing it. If this is not possible then making a gesture with both the hands and kissing the hands. Let&rsquo;s call all this Istilaam.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">1. &nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Now<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">, what is the proof for a separate Iftitaah?<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">2.&nbsp; And what is the proof for making Ishaarah with both the hands?<br \/>\n\tIt seems the Hadith used &quot;The hands are not raised except in seven places&#8230;&quot; is being used as proof for both a separate Iftitaah and for doing Istilaam with both the hands? Am I right? I went to this seminar and the speaker was saying there is no proof for a separate&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">iftitaah<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> and <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">isharah<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> should be done with one hand.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">3. He also said that there is no proof to kiss the hands after making <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">ishaara<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">, What proof do the Hanafis have for this?<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n\t<strong>\u0628\u0650\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0645<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">A person intending <i>\u1e6daw\u0101f<\/i> should first make an intention, then face the black stone (<i>al-\u1e25ajr al-<\/i><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">aswad<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">) and make <i>takb\u012br<\/i>, then raise their hands (up to their ears) just as in <i>\u1e63al\u0101h<\/i>. Now they should do <i>istil\u0101m<\/i>, which is that they should try place both of their hands in the silver dome holding the black stone and kiss it, if not they should touch it with either two hands or one (preferably the right), then kiss their hand. If not, they should try to touch it with a stick or something similar, then kiss that object. If all of this is not possible, they should stand in-line, whilst facing the black stone, then raise their hands (palms facing the black stone) up to its height, then do <i>takb\u012br<\/i>, then finally kiss their palms. They should then repeat the action of <i>istil\u0101m<\/i> in every round of <i>\u1e6daw\u0101f<\/i>.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\" title=\"\"><sup><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The &lsquo;<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">iftitaah<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&rsquo; is only done once, at the beginning of <i>\u1e6daw\u0101f<\/i>.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ibr\u0101h\u012bm al-Nakh\u02bf\u012b narrates &ldquo;The hands are raised <\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">in<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> seven occasions. The opening of the <i>\u1e63al\u0101h<\/i>, the <i>takb\u012br<\/i> for <i>qun\u016bt<\/i> during <\/span><i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">witr<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">, during [\u1e63al\u0101h] of the two \u02bf\u012bds, during <i>istil\u0101m<\/i>, during [sa\u02bf\u012b] of \u1e63af\u0101 and marw\u0101h, during \u02bfarafah and <\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">muzdalifah<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> and whilst pelting the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">jamratayn<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">.&rdquo; Such <\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">a narration<\/span><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"> is deemed to be a statement of the companions or their followers, as it is not possible to be conjured up from one&rsquo;s intellect.<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\" title=\"\"><sup><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; N\u0101fi&rsquo; says, &ldquo;I saw Ibn \u02bfUmar RA do <i>istil\u0101m<\/i> of the black stone with his hands, he then kissed his hands.&rdquo; (Narrated by Bukh\u0101ri and Muslim)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Ab\u016b \u1e6cufayl said, &ldquo;I saw the Prophet SAW do <i>\u1e6daw\u0101f<\/i>, whilst doing <i>istil\u0101m<\/i> of the <i>ka\u02bfbah<\/i> with a stick (similar to a crosier), he then kissed that stick.
