Summer is very hot in my region and there are 22 hours load-shedding every day. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Will it be ok if a woman takes off her shirt in front of her mahram (sons, brothers and father) within the room due to intense heat?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><b>Answer:<\/b><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>\u0628\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u064a\u0645<\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The legal ruling in the \u1e24anaf\u012b madhhab is that the \u02bbawrah of a woman in front of ma\u1e25ram men (those with whom&nbsp;marriage is permanently unlawful, such as her father, brother, son, grandson, paternal uncle, maternal uncle, father-in-law, etc) outside of \u1e63al\u0101h is the area between the navel and [inclusive of] the knees, as well as the stomach and back (al-Fat\u0101w\u0101 al-Hindiyyah, 5\/328, al-Hid\u0101yah, 4\/461, and other sources).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">While this is the absolute legal minimum that a woman must cover in front of ma\u1e25ram men, our jurists (the fuqah\u0101&#39;) explain that the chest and breasts should not generally be exposed as this goes against proper etiquette (adab) and established customs and norms (\u02bburf), and doing so has the potential to cause temptation (fitnah) and\/or desire (shahwah).
