\n\tAssalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf a husband masturbates to his divorced wife's live video call,  is that any type of \u0631\u062c\u0648\u0639 from the divorce?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIs she returned to his nikah…<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/b><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u0628\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u064a\u0645<\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe jurists have stated that there are two ways of effecting ruj\u016b\u02bb (reconciliation) after \u1e6dal\u0101q (divorce): by speech, and by action. It is praiseworthy to make ruj\u016b\u02bb by speech and disliked doing it by action (Raddu al-Mu\u1e25t\u0101r, 5\/24).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRuj\u016b\u02bb by speech is accomplished through the husband saying something like "I have made Ruj\u016b\u02bb" or "I have retained her" (in her absence).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u02bbAll\u0101mah Ibn \u02bb\u0100bid\u012bn said that ruj\u016b\u02bb by action requires lust\/desire on the part of the husband and\/or the wife, and either of the following:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t· Touching his wife, having intercourse with her, kissing her (including the face, forehead, and lips), or touching her (with or without an intervening cloth) where the heat of the body is felt with desire.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t· Looking at the inside of the wife's private parts with the intention of ruj\u016b\u02bb.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAssuming that the video call did not involve explicitly stating ruj\u016b\u02bb by speech, and since it obviously did not involve him touching her, then according to \u02bbAll\u0101mah Ibn \u02bb\u0100bid\u012bn, ruj\u016b\u02bb will not have taken place unless he looked at the inside of his wife's private parts [even if over video] and did so with the intention of ruj\u016b\u02bb.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
