Should I consider today my 1st day of next period and stop praying? <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">I feel my bleeding will continue this month too for every single day. In such a scenario of continuous bleeding what is haidh for me, when do I stop praying? Should I stop praying from 6th April which was my date in the previous period?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\" dir=\"RTL\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">\u0628\u0650\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0645<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<\/h1>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The principals of the menstrual cycle and the irregular periods are as follows:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Minimum thuhr (the period when there is no bleeding) is 15 days and there is no limit for the maximum period. Minimum haiz is 3 days and the maximum is 10 days. If a woman bleeds less than 3 days then it will be regarded as Istihaza. In the state of istihaza a woman will be in the ruling of a clean woman except that she will do wudhu for every salah<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">If a woman bleeds more than 10 days whilst she has a habit of a certain number of days in menses, then the number of days she is habitual to will be regarded as menses and the rest will be istihaza.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">If she bleeds more than she is habitual to but less than 10 days then that whole period will be regarded to be haiz and this number will be her new habit in the menstrual cycle.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">If the blood ceases for less than 15 days then that whole period will be regarded as continuous bleeding.&nbsp; (All the above is extracted from Al Lubab fi Sharhil Kitab, pg. 45, vol. 1, Al Maktabatul Ilmiyah)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">In your case, you will be considered to be bleeding continuously from the 6<sup>th<\/sup> of March till the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> of March and for as many days you continue to bleed because the bleeding did not cease for fifteen days in between. You will be in haiz for the number of days you normally bleed and the rest will be considered istihazah.
