His hands are health and illness, cure and disease.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">The greatest weapon we have as Muslim is the weapon of Dua&rsquo;a. If we pour our heart with faith in Allah SWT, our duas can work miracles to remove any harm, illness and disease.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">There are several Ahadith about this:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&quot;There is nothing dearer to Allah Ta&rsquo;ala than a servant making dua to him.&quot;<strong><em>[At Tirmidhi]<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&quot;The dua of a Muslim for his brother (in Islam) in his absence is readily accepted, an angel is appointed to his side, whenever he makes a beneficial dua for his brother the appointed angel says &quot;aameen and may you also be blessed with the same&quot;.<strong><em>[Sahih Muslim]<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">In the Qur&#39;an, there are verses:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&quot;And your Lord said, invoke me and I will respond to your invocation.&quot;<strong><em>[Surah Ghafeer 40:60]<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&quot;So invoke Allah making your worship pure for him.&quot;<strong><em>[Surah Ghafeer 40:14]<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">In regards to wazaa&rsquo;if and duas, Insha&rsquo;Allah we will mention a couple of them.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Surah Al-Fatiha: Al-Fatiha has got the cure to all the illnesses<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">There is the narration:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>Narrated by Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: <\/em><em>Some of the companions of the Prophet (<\/em><em>\ufdfa<\/em><em>) came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs, and that tribe did not entertain them. While they were in that state, the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion). They said, (to the companions of the Prophet (<\/em><em>\ufdfa<\/em><em>) ), &quot;Have you got any medicine with you or anybody who can treat with Ruqya?&quot; The Prophet&#39;s companions said, &quot;You refuse to entertain us, so we will not treat (your chief) unless you pay us for it.&quot; So they agreed to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them (the Prophet&#39;s companions) started reciting Surat-al-Fatiha and gathering his saliva and spitting it (at the snake-bite). The patient got cured and his people presented the sheep to them, but they said, &quot;We will not take it unless we ask the Prophet (whether it is lawful).&quot; When they asked him, he smiled and said, &quot;How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? Take it (flock of sheep) and assign a share for me.&quot;<strong>(Sahih Al-Bukhari)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded the following narration:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Sayyiduna Abu Sa&rsquo;id Al Khudri (radiyallahu &lsquo;anhu) says,<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>&ldquo;Rasulullah (sallallahu &lsquo;alayhi wa sallam) dispatched us on a military expedition. We camped with some people and asked them to entertain us but they did not entertain us. Their leader was stung so they came to us saying: &lsquo;Is there anyone among you who can treat a scorpion sting with ruqyah [reciting something]?&rsquo; I said: &lsquo;Yes I can. But I will not do any ruqyah until you give us some sheep.&rsquo; They said: &lsquo;We shall give you thirty sheep.&rsquo; We accepted that, and I recited &lsquo;Alhamdulillahi&hellip;&rsquo;&nbsp;<strong>seven times<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>He was cured&nbsp;and we took the sheep.&rdquo; He said: &ldquo;We became concerned [whether this was&nbsp;permissible] and said: &lsquo;Do not be hasty until we reach Rasulullah (sallallahu &lsquo;alayhi wa sallam). &rsquo;Sayyiduna Abu Sa&rsquo;id says: &ldquo;When we arrived, I mentioned what I did to him. He (sallallahu &lsquo;alayhi wa sallam) said: &lsquo;How did you know that [Surah Fatihah] was a ruqyah? Take the sheep, and allow me a share as well.&rdquo;<strong>(Sunan Tirmidhi)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Both of the narration mentions Surah Al-Fatiha to be recited. The first hasn&rsquo;t specified any number and the second narration has got the number 7. So there is no harm in reciting Surah Al-Fatiha as much as we want and Insha&rsquo;Allah Allah will give a cure.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li value=\"2\">\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Duas in the Ahadith:<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>Ayesha (R.A.) stated that when anyone among them had an illness, Prophet Mohammad (SAW.) used to rub the area of the pain reciting the following dua: (Transliteration) <\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Azhibil Ba&rsquo;as Rabban Naas Antash Shafie La Shifa illa Shifauk Shifaun La Yugadeeru Saqaman<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><em>&ldquo;O Lord of the people, remove this pain and cure it, You are the one who cures and there is no one besides You who can cure, grant such a cure that no illness remains&rdquo;.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:36.0pt;\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><em>&ldquo;Ayesha (R.A.) stated that when Prophet Mohammad (SAW.) was ill, he used to recite the four Quls, blow on his hands and pass them over on the back and front. He also recited these surahs, blew on his hands and passed them over his body during his fatal illness&rdquo; <strong>[Bukhari, Muslim]<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Insha&rsquo;Allah we pray that the above will give some console and Insha&rsquo;Allah if recited with yaqeen and conviction Allah SWT will grant shifa and cure to the person.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">We pray that Allah SWT grants him and all our Muslim Brothers and Sisters cure and good health from any illness and disease.
