\n\tTo make sure we have understood your question properly, I will reiterate the question and then answer afterwards.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tYou have asked regarding: a man married his first wife, and then divorced her sometime later. He thereafter got married to a second wife. His first wife got married to a second husband and had children, then grandchildren. Your question is whether his first wife’s grandsons are mahram (unmarriageable) to his second wife.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\t1- If the above scenario is what you meant, then no, the grandsons of his first wife will not be mahram to his second wife. They will have to abide by the laws of segregation and hijab and hence they will have to do ‘pardah’.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, if your question is regarding: a man married his first wife, had children with her, and thereafter grandchildren. He thereafter got married to a second wife. Your question is whether his first wife’s (and his own) grandsons are mahram (unmarriageable) to his second wife.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
