\n\tI have an investment opportunity with a company that buys a certain currency and sells when the price is right.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAs you can see in the photo, in the first column it shows which currency is being used and bought, and in the last column, it shows the profit or loss.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tHe is offering to pay 5% every 10 weeks on my investment because of the experience he has had over the years of trading, and he takes anything above 5%. In the case of making less than 5% of my investment, he will pay me it completely. So, for example, if I invest $100,000, he will buy and sell the currency with that money and pay me 5% of my investment which will be $5000 and profit any amount made above that. If the investment profits less than $5000, then I profit whatever is made.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTrading in currencies of different countries in light of the scenario given in the question is permissible[1]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a> with the following conditions:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tAt least one of the parties involved in the transaction must take possession of its desired currency at the time of the transaction. Departing with neither of the parties taking possession of a currency is not permissible.[2]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tThe rate at which the two currencies are being exchanged should match the exchange rates stipulated by the government as the market exchange rate.[3]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tThe profit share must not be fixed, rather it should be agreed that a particular percentage of the profits will be the client’s share. For example, it is not permissible to state $5000 will be given to the client but rather 15% of the profit will be for them.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
