\n\tQuestion<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWe have been to Haj and according to my calculation, we were supposed to stay for 14 days in Makkah before leaving to Mina.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tI was unaware of Qasar salah rules, so there was some confusion.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe beginning couple of days my family were reading full until I told them, then they started Qasar. During Haj too they were praying Qasar. Until some mufti told me you should calculate <\/span><\/span>the day<\/span><\/span> of travel also, which makes it 15 days. (I was unaware of the rulings of Qasar that if <\/span><\/span>the intention<\/span><\/span> is not fixed to 15 or more, you should pray Qasar).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tI got confused and read 2-3 full Salah and later again checked with another mufti, and he said you can read Qasar as per your 14-day calculation.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMakkah stay: 5-18 AUG, Hajj: 19-23, Makkah: 23rd evening-4th SEP, 5-13 SEP: Medina.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSo, in summary, 5,6 (full Salah), (7-21 (Qasar Salah)), 22-23 (few full Salah) ,23-4 (Qasar Salah)), 5-13 (Qasar)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t1. Are all Salah's valid including the full <\/span><\/span>salahs<\/span><\/span> at the beginning and in between which were offered due to ignorance\/confusion?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t2. Does it have any effect on the Hajj?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn relation to the above questions:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tAll the salats will be considered valid.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tThe salats will have no effect <\/span><\/span>on<\/span><\/span> the validity of Hajj.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n\tThe messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be upon him has said: “When a judge gives a decision, having tried his best to decide correctly and is right, there are double rewards for him; and if he gave a judgment after having tried his best (to arrive at a correct decision) but erred, there is one reward for him.”[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tAnd in relation to the differences between a judge and a mufti in shariah, Imam Ibn Salaah mentions:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t“<\/span><\/span>The<\/span><\/span> verdict of a Mufti is not strictly binding for the recipient like the verdict of a judge.”[2]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tAllah says in the Holy Quran: “Allah does not burden a soul except with that which it can <\/span><\/span>bear<\/span><\/span>. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we have forgotten or stumbled.”[3]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
