\n\tAnswer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe recipients of Fidyah are the same as the recipients of Zakah. Hence, all the conditions related to the discharging of Zakah to Zakah recipients also apply to the recipients of Fidyah, for e.g. the Fidyah amount has to be given to poor and needy Muslims and not non-Muslims.[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tKeeping all the above in mind, <\/span><\/span>fidyah<\/span><\/span> cannot be given for building a well or for other causes such as building a mosque etc.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
