\n\tAssalamu alaikum. I wanted to perform itikaf for the last 3 days of Ramadan. What time should I sit? Please reply as soon as possible.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf a person intends to do i'tikaf for 3 days and nights in Ramadan, he\/she should sit i'tikaf before <\/span><\/span>maghrib<\/span><\/span> enters on the 1st<\/sup> day. And he\/she can exit from i'tikaf after <\/span><\/span>maghrib<\/span><\/span> of 3rd<\/sup> day.[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFor e.g: If he starts i'tikaf on Monday before <\/span><\/span>maghrib<\/span><\/span> prayer which is his 1st<\/sup> day. Then his 3rd<\/sup> day will be on Thursday after <\/span><\/span>maghrib<\/span><\/span>. Now he can exit his i'tikaf.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
