\n\tWhen the wife asked for the divorce and the husband provided such a response, one Talaq Raj'i (revocable divorce) will apply. This will result in the commencement of the Iddah (a waiting period of three menstruation cycles).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf within the Iddah period the husband wishes to take back his wife, he may do so without having the need to formally renew the nikah, provided, this is not the third divorce given to the wife.[1]<\/sup><\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
