Some of these Hadith seem to be variations of the Hadith where the Prophet (SAW) told her on his (SAW) death bed she is the leader of the women of Jannah, but nothing about how Mariam will be superior.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Here are the narrations. (Please can you confirm the original source for last two because, if I am not mistaken, ibn Kathir&#39;s (RA) Al Bidayah Wal Nihayah &amp; Suyuti&#39;s (RA) Al Jami&#39;i Saghir are secondary sources, and whether they all are authentic? Sayyidah can mean leader, or master, or a noble way of addressing a woman, or it could mean a higher ranking person (i.e. someone of high status).<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\" title=\"\">[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">It is more likely that the more accurate translation, in this case, is of the latter meaning &#8211; someone highly-ranking or of high status. This is supported by many narrations because they mention Khadijah (ra) as one of the &lsquo;sayyidaat&rsquo; of the women of Jannah, including Fatima (ra), Maryam (as) and Asiya (as).<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\" title=\"\">[2]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">2- So, we see that the ahadith mention the virtues of all four of the greatest women as the greatest of women of Jannah. Nevertheless, the question still remains that who is the greatest of them all?<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">We find the answer to this question in the Quran from the Speech of Allah (swt) when He says:<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\" dir=\"RTL\">\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u0652 \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e\u062a\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0626\u0650\u0643\u064e\u0629\u064f \u064a\u064e\u0627 \u0645\u064e\u0631\u0652\u064a\u064e\u0645\u064f \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u0627\u0635\u0652\u0637\u064e\u0641\u064e\u0627\u0643\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0637\u064e\u0647\u0651\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0643\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0635\u0652\u0637\u064e\u0641\u064e\u0627\u0643\u0650 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0646\u0650\u0633\u064e\u0627\u0621\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">&ldquo;And when the angels said, &quot;O Mary, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.&rdquo; <\/span><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">(Surah Ale-Imraan, Verse 42)<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">In the Tafseer of Imam Qurtubi on this verse, he concludes that indeed Maryam is the greatest &lsquo;sayyidah&rsquo; from the women of Jannah. The Quran is higher in authority because it is the direct speech of Allah (SWT), and Allah (SWT) Himself, placed the greatness of her rank in the Quran. Imam Qurtubi explains that her greatness overall women of Jannah are because she was given the revelation from Allah (SWT) directly via the angel Jibreel (as), and this is specific to Maryam over all other women. She also had the soul of Isa (as) breathed into her by Jibreel (as).<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Therefore Maryam (as) has a higher status in Jannah than Fatima (ra).
