Life has been fine and alhamdulillah all these years. We have been blessed with a 3year old baby boy. It's been a year since I and my husband have been facing a very tough time and our marriage was all about to end. I have been trying to give my best to sort things out with my husband with the help of almighty, but I still couldn't. I do strongly believe My Rabb has promised me to ease not just once but twice. Whenever I feel like giving it up I put these verses back on my mind to calm me down. I and my husband don't see and talk to each other. We live together with my in-laws. I used to cook for him and satisfy all his daily needs. But we don't see each other. He is not ready to face me. My question is that, does this nullify our marriage? Not seeing and talking to each other in spite of being under one roof. What does Islam say about a misunderstanding between husband and wife? Please explain.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Misunderstandings between the husband and wife are common and happen in every marriage. Sit down with a reputable Aalim and discuss the issue.
