\n\tIn the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tSports are a recommended practice, even a rewardable one when they are coupled with the intention to keep oneself fit and active for religious purposes. However, they should not-<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t1. Be a source of neglecting one's religious duties.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t2. Be a reason to exposes one’s awrah<\/em> (nakedness) through tight fit clothing or short attire.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSome recommended sports are swimming, horse riding and archery, consider the following hadith. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhiwasallam<\/em>) is narrated to have said: “Any action which is void of the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala is futile (lahw<\/em>) except for four actions.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t1) Walking between two targets, ie. Practicing with a bow and arrow\/spear.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t2) Training one’s horse.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t3) Playing with one’s wife.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t4) Learning how to swim.”[1]<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tOnly Allah SWT alone knows best.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
