It is not a problem to announce the death of someone when it is not done in an inappropriate manner. The prohibition is about the manner it was done in the Jahilyya with screaming etc.[1]<\/a> Therefore, sending messages is not a problem and is even recommended because it will increase the number of people who will pray janaza.<\/span><\/p>\n
