If I join salat with Jamat, do I have to pray thana, aouzo and bismillah<\/span><\/p>\n

Also if I join late in the first rakah when the imam has already started to recite, do I still have to pray this?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you are reading in the congregation (Jamat) then you will only read thana, not auzubillah and bismillah.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you missed a Rakat again you will only read thana if you know you can join in before imam gets up from ruku, otherwise, you will just say the takbeer whilst standing, then join in the ruku.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whilst you are making up for the missing rakats, you will read auzu and bismillah in the first rakah and only bismillah in the remaining rakats.<\/span><\/p>\n
