As per their information &#8220;the chickens are pre-stunned \u2013 to minimize suffering or fear.\u00a0 The method used is a high frequency, low voltage stun \u2013 this means the animal is still alive when it is killed by zabiha (hand slaughter)&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I want to know is that way to slaughter animals is correct?<\/p>\n<p>Please inform me.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>Answer <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With regards to your question, the answer depends on whether stunning causes the animal to die or not.\u00a0 Many a time small animals such as chickens die as a results of the electric shock whereas larger animals stay alive for a short period and then die.<\/p>\n<p>If the animals were to die before the actual Islamic slaughter then it would be unlawful to consume the meat.\u00a0 Otherwise, it would be permissible to eat it albeit it will be considered Makruh Tahrimi.\u00a0\u00a0 (Kifayatul Mufti p.239 v.8 &amp; p.256 v.8 &amp;)<\/p>\n<p>Allah (SWA) in the Holy Quran has said \u201cForbidden to you are: Al Maitah (the dead animals \u2013 cattle \u2013 beasts not slaughtered), blood, the flesh of swine and that which Allah\u2019s name has not been mentioned while slaughtering\u2026\u201d\u00a0 (Surah Maaidah v.3)<\/p>\n<p>To be on the safe side it will be necessary to refrain from consuming such meat.<\/p>\n<p>Only Allah Knows Best<\/p>\n<p>Mohammed Tosir Miah<\/p>\n<p>Darul Ifta Birmingham.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Sir, Nando\u2019s restaurants are providing Halal meet foods in entire U.K. However, I have recently come to know about their procedures.
