Question<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many years ago when I was not as observant as I should have been, there were some cases when I was in a state of major or minor ritual impurity but I prayed anyway because either <\/span>I was too embarrassed to explain why I could not pray when someone asked me or <\/span>there was some difficulty in getting pure and ended up praying thinking that although deficient it is for Allah, and if He wills he could accept. I am not sure if I considered praying without being pure permissible.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was not aware that either of these could be considered as kufr.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of these instances may have been after my marriage, some before having kids. Having repented, I keep thinking what if I committed kufr, especially because of point number 2, what impact this action has on the state of my nikah and validity of kids? Should I repeat nikah? The guilt and uncertainty are not comfortable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Praying without wudu isn\u2019t kufr if the person doesn\u2019t do it thinking that wudu or salah to be something insignificant or useless. A person should do his\/her wudu then pray as prayer is one of the most sacred acts in Islam.<\/span> There is no need for another nikkah or anything like that. You should repent to Allah and make a firm intention never to do it again.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
