I had gone to the bathroom and then I had a doubt that would I had a bath (ghusl ) or not, but I had offered namaz and then I had doubted about it. Is my namaz valid? Also, I had a doubt that maybe I had done both.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saaidah Aaisha Radiallahu Anha relates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam was asked about a man who finds wetness (semen from ejaculation) but does not remember having a wet dream. So He Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam said, \u201cHe must perform ghusl\u201d and he was asked about a man who thinks he had a wet dream but finds not wetness. So He Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam said: \u201che does not have to perform ghusul.\u201d So Umm Sulaim RadiallahuAnha asked if a woman finds wetness, does she have to perform ghusl? He said: \u201cyes, women are the partners of men.\u201d <\/span>(Sunan Abi Dawud p.35 v.1)<\/span><\/p>\n

With regards to your question, if you found wetness, irrespective of whether you remembered a dream or not, ghusl would have been fardh upon you, thus making the salah you prayed invalid. You must repeat this prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, if you found no wetness, then ghusl is not fardh upon you and the salah you prayed was valid and there is no need to repeat it.<\/span><\/p>\n
