{"id":21729,"date":"2021-05-06T15:17:03","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T15:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/?p=21729"},"modified":"2021-05-06T15:17:03","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T15:17:03","slug":"does-the-quran-and-sunnah-say-anything-about-the-prophets-being-questioned-on-the-day-of-judgement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/home\/does-the-quran-and-sunnah-say-anything-about-the-prophets-being-questioned-on-the-day-of-judgement\/","title":{"rendered":"Does the Qur\u2019an, and Sunnah Say Anything About the Prophets Being Questioned on the Day of Judgement?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Fatwa ID: 05276<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Answered by: Mufti Eunus Ali<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Question<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Assalamu Alaikum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Does the Qur&#8217;an, and Sunnah say anything about the Prophets being questioned on the Day of Judgement even though they were infallible, and are\u00a0guaranteed\u00a0Jannah?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If so, then by extension will our Prophet (SAW) also be asked in the court\u00a0of\u00a0Allah?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Answer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In regards to the Prophets of Allah being questioned about their personal needs, there is a difference of opinion between the scholars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Allah has stated:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">So, We shall ask those to whom the messengers were sent, and We shall ask the messengers.
