Then the companies such as dove and Vaseline further have manufacturers in Muslim countries manufacturing halal products and in non-Muslim countries manufacturers make some halal products and then haram products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">I don&#8217;t know how the funds\/earnings are shared amongst these companies and then their parent&#8217;s companies so is it ok if we&#8217;re only buying the halaal products? Any food item in which the ingredients are derived from haram animals or from halal animals which are not slaughtered according to shariah is not permissible to consume. The difference between soap and food items is, soap is for external use and food is for internal consumption.
