Why is “Khatna” (circumcision) compulsory in Islam? What is the reason behind this?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Circumcision is necessary for men in Islam, however, it is not necessary for women. There are 2 major reasons why it is necessary for men.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first being that it is the sunnah of the Prophets (A.S) and it is their natural method.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Second, is that it is cleaner and more sanitary for males to be circumcised both for their own health as well as for their sexual interactions.<\/span><\/p>\n
