I am a medical student and going to be graduated soon, Insha Allah. I wanted to ask can I go to America\/UK for my speciality training as their training is very good. I have a plan to learn better and come back and practise in my own country Pakistan. There are various views of the people, some say it is not better to go to a non-muslim country and to work with female doctors. Of course, there are males also who teach resident doctors.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of Allah the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Allah SWT has created humans with intellect and sound minds. Out of all the creation, the best in the eyes of Allah SWT is the human. This world has been created for the human and to benefit from it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In humans, we find many that Allah has given different skills and qualities. Not all humans will possess the same qualities therefore, each individual has got potentials to benefit the creation of Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is a hadith:<\/span><\/p>\n

Abu Huraira narrated directly from Allah’s Messenger (\ufdfa) that he said: People are like mines of gold and silver. (Narrated in Muslim)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

From the above hadith, we are clear that every human has different qualities and have got potentials.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Alhamdulillah, we can see that Allah SWT has given you the potential and quality to study Medicine. To study medicine or to train as a Doctor is not unlawful or haram, but rather it’s beneficial for the Ummah and Muslim community.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is mentioned in a Hadith: the Prophet said: “For each disease, there is a cure: and when the (right) treatment is given, the disease is cured by the Will of Allah” (Ahmad and Muslim).<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From the above hadith we come to know that to treat the illness and disease we need qualified and knowledgeable people in our community who will be able to look after the creation of Allah SWT and at the same give the correct treatment, so Insha\u2019Allah the illness and disease can be cured.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Therefore, if this means travelling to another country and place, this is permissible and also it will be advisable to gain the different knowledge and different skills of medicine.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But as Muslims is important that we take some precautions and follow some guidelines of Shariah.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

  1. Imaan and Reliance in Allah only<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Always have Allah\u2019s power and Qudrat in mind<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Never put your knowledge or your success first<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Abstain from haram and what\u2019s not permissible.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Have the correct intention<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Make dua to Allah for success and Thank Him<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Make dua for the patient and those ill<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Above are just some points that Insha\u2019Allah will be helpful.<\/span><\/p>\n
