Can a person sell cakes and biscuits which have pics on them? the pictures will be eaten and the figures. there was a fatwa does anyone still have it<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">It is always best to refrain from impermissible actions in Islam to one\u2019s utmost ability and pictures of animate objects are not permissible in Islam, however, if the purpose of the item is not the picture and it is just an added feature it will be permissible to sell it like a newspaper for example or a book<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.
