Ibn `Abbas further said, Allah&#8217;s Messenger went out and offered the Id prayer and then delivered the sermon.&#8221; Ibn `Abbas did not mention anything about the Adhan (the call for prayer) or the Iqama. He added, &#8220;Then the Prophet went to the women and instructed them and gave them religious advice and ordered them to give alms and I saw them reaching out (their hands to) their ears and necks (to take off the earrings and necklaces, etc.) and throwing (it) towards Bilal. Then the Prophet returned with Bilal to his house. &#8220;<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">We can see that women in the Prophet\u2019s time were wearing earrings and the messenger of Allah did not stop them. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">One should keep in mind that a woman can not display her beauty except to her mahram. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Allah says in Quran<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands&#8217; fathers, their sons, their husbands&#8217; sons, their brothers, their brothers&#8217; sons, their sisters&#8217; sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment.
