Is making a mark with a pencil on a verse or page on the Qur’an for identification permissible?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Answer:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Allah (SWT) mentions in the Holy Qur\u2019an, \u201cIf one observes the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, then such things emanate from the piety of the hearts.\u201d.[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From the above verse of the Quran, we understand that anything that would dishonour the Quran would not be permissible. Making a mark with a pencil on a page of the Qur\u2019an is permissible because it is not disrespectful to the sanctity of the Qur\u2019an.<\/span><\/p>\n
